(21.99 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is above average, shows an upward swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls throughout the round. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 81 mph; had sure soft hands, consistent rhythmic footwork, and a fluid exchange. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot.
5-foot-11, 160-pound projectable frame. Athletic during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick. Has above average bat speed and level swing plane. In the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 74 mph; had a clean exchange, sure hands, and smooth footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a long arm action with a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.41.
