Tall, Long build at 6-foot-4, 185-pounds. Heitbrink throws from a high ¾ arm slot and throws his fastball at 72-75 mph. His arsenal also consists of a 12/6 loopy Curveball at 64-66, and a CH that shows some arm-side run to it. With his tall build, he has the tendency to finish tall when up in the zone. During his bullpen he also showed the ability to correct his misses and got over his front side in doing so. Took a solid round of BP. A lefty swinger with the ability to find plane early and get through the baseball with authority. Easy juice with middle of the lineup potential. Upside bat that should see much more pop as he fills out his very projectable frame. Looked comfortable and athletic around the bag at first base. Actions are smooth and mechanically sound. Looks to have the frame and the skill set for the position.

On the bump, the southpaw pitching prospect presents a smooth, repeatable delivery. He creates solid power through his lower half with good torque in his hips. A well-built kid with the ability to drop to ¾ when throwing all pitches. Has a dependable fastball ranging from 72-74 mph. Throws a developing curveball with sharp side-to-side break. His well placed changeup offers variety, and is comfortable throwing in any count. A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Mechanics are simple and repeatable. Path is level and he showed feel for the barrel. Natural tools are well above average. Ball gets off his bat well. Very good when barrel flows to the middle of the field. Consistently produced line drives in BP. Moves off the bag with athleticism at first base. Ideal frame for the position. Has enough lateral mobility for the position as well. Glove skills are average to slightly above average at this stage.
