At the plate he starts in a balanced setup before getting into his short stride for timing. Hands show a slight back load before accelerating the barrel through the zone with some loft to his path. His ability to lift the ball naturally makes him a middle of the lineup candidate once bat speed catches up to strength with maturity. Looks comfortable and fluid at first base. Displayed feel around the bag and a reliable glove. Looks to be an above average defender at the spot.
