Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Had quick bat speed, upward swing plane and balanced finish. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 75 mph. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 78 mph; showed consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.24 at the event. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Began in a crouched stance with a choppy load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed is average and exhibits an upward swing plane. Found some barrels during his round. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 76 mph; showed consistent feet, a natural exchange, and consistent hands. Capable in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 74 mph; showed average feet, firm hands, and a natural exchange. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 72 mph during throw downs; had consistent hands, athletic footwork, and a developing exchange. He had a pop time of 2.06-2.14. Some flexibility and calm setup. Solid on the mound, has a high ¾ angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Has an athletic balance point. Curveball (62-63 mph), slider (66-67 mph), splitter (66-67 mph).Threw his fastball 76-77 mph.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance. Balanced swing with comparable strength and speed through the zone. Batspeed over rotational abilities. Sprayed it to all fields in BP.

Scouting Notes:2023 RHP. Good feel out there for both the zone and his movements. Expect much more velocity to come with maturity. Fastball is mostly true through the zone and he was able to locate it to both sides of the plate. Pops in a big shaped, downer of breaking ball in the zone as well. Completing his repertoire is a changeup with decent sell.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: On the mound, the RHP starts tall, has a casual leg lift and then tucks his glove right away causing him to throw downhill, favors the arm side of the plate, keeps his body squared to the plate. Loose high ¾ slot.

Fastball: FB has late life run towards RHH (68-70).

Curveball: CB has small 12/6 break (60-62).

Changeup: CH is developing with downward depth (63-66)

Pitchability: Has command of FB, off-speed pitches are still developing. Keeps everything around zone

Role: Starter/Reliever

Additional Comments: Show some command with pitches, but velocity will increase as he matures

Hit: The RHH has little to no load with a little leg kick. Has little extension after contact and keeps his hands inside the baseball during his swing. Does find the barrel consistently

Power: Displays developing line drive capabilities with some pop

Offensive Projections: Back half of the order (71 exit velocity)

Field: Behind the plate, he starts high in his crouch. Has average transfers with average arm strength. Stays through the throw and is accurate. From SS, he tends to play from his heels at times. Has average arm strength with some carry to his glove side. Tends to stay upright when fielding.

Two-way prospect. Works with a slower paced tempo on the mound. Delivery doesn’t require much effort while creating solid direction down the mound. Tall and fall type with a loose arm. Offers a three-pitch mix through a high-¾ slot. Fastball is mostly true through the zone, sitting 60-63 mph. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that shows both depth and sharpness at 50-51. Above average offering. Changeup has some run/dive to it while maintaining fastball arm speed at 55-57 mph. At the plate he swing it from the right side starting in a taller setup. Simple load followed by a compact, level stroke. Contact type bat with more present speed than strength to hands. Worked through a middle-away approach in BP. In the infield he plays with direct feet and under control. Soft hands through fielding with a clean transfer. Arm works well and is accurate across the diamond.

5-foot-4, 125 pound two-way prospect throws right-handed on the mound with longer arm action out of a ¾ arm slot. Provides even flowing tempo with nice actions mechanically while producing a higher leg kick. Fastball was 62-63 mph with glove-side run. Changeup was thrown at 58-61 mph. Offensively he bats right handed out of an open, wider stance. Bat path is level through the zone and made average contact throughout his round. Lower have activated well. Mechanics are developing in keeping hands connected more consistently. Recorded a 67 mph exit velocity. A third baseman with quick feet. Plays under control to the baseball and fields from heels inside funnel. Ball skills are developing. Looked comfortable on the move. Tossed it across the diamond with accuracy.
