12/2/18
At the plate the 5’8” 160 pound prospect shows a choppy rhythm to his swing. Seems balanced throughout his load. He uses a flat bat path that leads to line drive and hard ground ball type of contact. In the outfield he plays under control without compromising quickness to his feet. Plays cleanly through showing above average ball skills. Tossed it to home plate with accuracy.

5-foot-7, 138-pound prospect with average frame. On the mound, he throws from a ¾ arm slot. Tendency to open early with his front side, which causes issues with his release point. Fastball sat at 67-69 mph with some arm side movement. Breaking ball lacked consistency in the zone at 55-56 mph. Changeup was his best off-speed pitch at 65-66 mph with similar action to his fastball. At the plate the right-hander starts with a tall, slightly closed set up. Using a short stride and minimal hand load he takes a compact, downhill path to the ball. He was able to register a top exit velocity of 62 and ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. In the outfield he fields the ball in the middle of his body and gets good use out of his crow hop to get momentum into his throws. he was able to throw accurately with 75 mph arm strength to home plate.
