At the plate he starts in a tall, balanced position from the right side. Mechanically simple, using a back load during his stride forward. Frame is projectable and he should grow into a power threat as he adds strength. Path is level with slight downhill tendencies at times. Showed the ability to use all fields, with more natural ball flight to the middle of the field. Has an ideal frame for the first base position. Feet are quick and he moves well off the bag. Glove skills are above average and he has enough lateral mobility to stay at the position. On the mound the right-hander starts with a quicker tempo to his delivery then slows it down at leg lift. Lands on line at foot strike and finishes towards home plate. Arm actions is relatively clean, working through a near over the top slot. Fastball works downhill at 66-69 mph. Spins a 12/6 breaking ball that has gradual action to it. Also flashed a knuckle ball that had some dance to it.
