7/24/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Load is fluid and athletic. Balanced launch followed by a level path. Vertical barrel launch gives him easy whip and early bat speed. Physicality shows through the zone. Bat speed is a legit tool as well. Drove the ball well in BP, showing backspin abilities to both fields. At third base he plays with quick feet and soft hands. Frame plays at the position with enough arm for the left side. Urgent transfer. Ball skills are on par for class.

A two-way prospect. On the bump he has a slower tempo, repeatable delivery. Arm action is long back prior to moving through a high-3/4 slot. Ball comes out well, showing above average arm strength for his class. Fastball will run slightly, crossing the zone at 76-78 mph. Complemented his fastball with a sharp, 11/5 shaped breaking ball at 62-65 mph. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup from the right side of the plate. Barrel starts/stays in a vertical setup during his leg lift load and stride. A strong kid with noticeable barrel whip through the zone. Finds plane well and can create backspin to either field. Middle of the lineup potential. Registered a top exit velocity of 78 mph and ran a 4.77 from home to first. Brings well above average athleticism to the first base position. Actions are athletic and lateral mobility was impressive. Looks to be a solid defender at the spot.
