Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 76 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-78 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1508; Avg 1376). His changeup (72-73) had slight fading action. Has late action on his 10/4 slider (67-68). (Max spin 1914; Avg 1906).
