Started in a balanced stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 79 mph; shows sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1956; Avg 1921). His 11/5 curveball had gradual action. (Max spin 1881; Avg 1811).
