Body Type: 6-foot-3, 220-pound solid frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Sound mechanics with a good arm action. Velocity will jump with more incorporation of lower half. Fastball: 77-82 mph. Arm side run. Curveball: 66-68 mph. Hard to hit 12/6 movement. Changeup: 70-73 mph. Good enough to keep hitters off balance. Pitchability: Can throw 3 pitches in the zone messing with hitters timing. Additional Comments: Athlete to follow as grows into large frame with high potential.

Body Type: 6-foot-3 215-pound prospect with a projectable frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Compact delivery. Uses a hip load and creates tilt. Works in-line. Uses some effort working out of a high-3/4 slot. Fastball: 79-82 mph fastball is mostly straight working on a downhill plane. Showed occasional run when thrown arm side. Curveball: 68-71 mph curveball has a big 1/7 shape. At times the pitch flashed some sharpness. Changeup: 71-74 mph changeup is thrown with good arm speed. The pitch has late sink and run through the zone. Pitchability: Still more of a thrower than a pitcher at this point. The stuff is good and should continue to get better. Changeup is above average offering for his age. Role: Likely better suited for a role in the bullpen. Plus stuff with just average command. Also a good candidate for a velocity jump in the future.

1/27/18 6-foot-2, 190 pound first basemen move well defensively with his bigger frame getting to the baseball quick and showing good glovework fielding. Williams did a great job getting off the bag, reading the ball and getting strong, accurate throws at 75 mph to second base when turning two. He’s got an inside-out swing from the left side giving good contact with above average power. He recorded an 83 exit velo which was one of the best for his class at the event. His lower half rotates well but sometimes gets out ahead, but his upper half need to be relaxed and more fluid while rotating to create synchrony. That will give him more force while attacking the ball, increase bat speed and allow him to get to the inside pitch more efficiently. An athletic southpaw on the bump. Delivery is efficient and requires little effort. Arm works well and projects for more strength with maturity. Ball comes out well and easy. Fastball comes through a near ¾ slot sitting 75-77 mph. Pounded the zone with the heater that showed regular arm side action. Spins a big breaking, 1/7 shaped breaking ball with a slurvish look to it. The pitch offers more movement than depth presently at 64-68 mph. Showed solid feel for the offering. Completing his repertoire is his 67-69 mph changeup that is thrown with near fastball arm speed. The pitch has a similar look to fastball with a little extra dive.
