6/20/18 Two-way prospect with a very projectable, 6-foot-4 frame. At the plate he uses a fluid leg lift for timing during his back load with hands. Long lever type that can do damage when extended. Swing offers more present strength than speed through the zone. Present gap abilities with more to come as he fills out. At first base he plays off the bag under control. Uses a quick inward turn prior to throwing on double play balls. Ball skills are adequate. On the bump he offers a fastball/breaking ball combination through a high-¾ slot. With his length he gets down the mound well and fastball gets on hitters quicker than velo suggest. Sat 73-74 mph with the fastball on this day. Breaking ball is spun well on an 11/5 shape. The pitch was used to get ahead of and put hitters away. Home to 1st: 4.88 Infield Velocity: 76 Exit Velocity: 82
