Gavin McCoy: 3B/RHP, (2022) Twinsburg, OH. 5-foot-10, 175-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Mccoy recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, has an upward swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 84 mph; showed consistent rhythmic feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.09. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Curveball (65-70 mph), changeup (75-78 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 83-86 mph.

Delivery Notes: Smooth clean delivery with good mechanics. Little to no effort when throwing. Uses lower half well and shows good extension. High ¾ arm slot.
Fastball: True through zone, heavy ball at 82mph.
Curveball: 12/6 break with above average bite at 67mph.
Changeup: Keeps arm speed the same as fastball, provides good arm side fade at 72mph.
