Strength is slightly ahead of bat speed but both tools project out as above average. Laced line drives to pull side in BP. Behind the dish he showed both quickness to feet and transfer. Can get around the ball at times but swing produces easy backspin when he stays inside. Strength stands out as his top tool in the box. Could grow into a run producer type as bat speed catches up to strength. Frame fits the catcher position. Starts in a higher crouch prior to getting into his transfer. Feet are fluid as he squares himself to second base. Tends to drift towards the third base line. Exchange skills are smooth. Arm has some whip to it projecting for more strength.
