2/2/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Has a ¾ arm slot that showed an arm action which could use more fluidity coming to release. Provides a quicker paced tempo. Above average athleticism reveals potential in this right.
Fastball: 77-79 mph. Throws a heavy fastball that gets on batters quickly. Light tailing arm-side run follows.
Curveball: 62-68 mph. Has sharper bite to it with 10-5 action mostly and kept it in the zone often.

Pitchability: Has a stronger body with more left in his tank for the future. Sat 77-79 from both the stretch and windup proving he can hold velo. Off-speed pitches have potential too.
Role: Both starter or bullpen
7/11/18 The right hander is athletic on the mound. Slow paced motion while taking the hands over head before starting a higher leg lift that requires some effort. Lands slightly closed at first strike while getting down the mound efficiently. Throws from a high ¾ slot while the arm has a stab on the backside. Fastball shows late run at 77-79 mph. Curveball is spun tight with late break at 65-68 mph. Pitch could be a potential out pitch moving forward. Change up displays fade to the arm side at 70-74 mph. As a defender presents a MIF type skill set. Good athlete with smooth footwork to both directions. Shows above average ball skill and a glove that proves to be reliable. Arm will be the ultimate factor as to which side of the infield he plays in the future. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Nice, fluid load into a balanced launch. Path is level with natural barrel whip in there. Good athlete with well above average natural tools for class. Ball jumps off the barrel, displaying present gap abilities. Solid bat to follow. 60-yard dash: 7.38 Infield Velocity: 73 Exit Velocity: 86
1/28/18 Works with good tempo as he rolls through his fluid delivery. Arm works well through a near over the top slot, showing above average strength/arm speed for class. Impressed with pitchability, filling up the zone with all three offerings. Sat 76-78 mph with the fastball, showing signs of more velocity to come. Breaking ball showed some bite on a 12/6 plane with developing depth. Changeup was one of the more impressive pitches we saw on the day. Maintains arm speed on the offering that showed heavy run/fade. Mechanically sound with fluid feet in the infield. Actions are smooth and he has a reliable glove. Solid defender. A twitchy bat that works downhill to the baseball. Swing is short/compact with line drive capabilities. Could go from table setter to run producer as he adds loft to swing. Works with good pace on the bump. Transitions well through chest high leg lift into his drop and drive load. Fastball comes through a near over the top slot, sitting 76-78 mph. Breaking ball has later bite on a 12/6 plane at 67-70 mph. Changeup was his best secondary offering. The pitch has depth with heavy run and sink at 73-75 mph.

1/29/17 5-foot-9, 145-pound prospect. On the mound, he starts with a big rocker step to the outside of his body with a straight up and down leg kick. Utilizes a short stride with limited use of his lower half. Maintains direction and momentum towards home plate. Fastball sat 73-74 mph through a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot. Mixes in a 62-63 mph breaking ball with gradual movement. Also mixes in a 66-68 mph with similar movement to his fastball. Offensively, he starts in a wider setup at the plate. Uses a very short stride while taking his hands back to launch. Swing is level and compact. Was at his best when he worked the opposite field. Contact type guy at this stage. Would be aided by adding rhythm to his loading sequence. Defensively, he has a tendency to field the ball flat footed. Would like to see him play more from his toes and create angles towards first base. This will help create more momentum behind his throws. Displayed average arm strength through ¾ slot.
