Started in a balanced strong stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was quick, showed a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 82 mph; showed a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.25. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1960; Avg 1871). His 11/5 curveball showed some action. (Max spin 1890; Avg 1847). His 10/4 slider has late action. (Max spin 1830; Avg 1809).
