Began in a balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled stride. Has quick efficient bat speed, short simple swing plane and balanced finish. Created tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Capable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 68 mph; had soft sure hands, a clean exchange, and consistent footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used athletic slot with a compact arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Advanced on the mound, showed above average arm speed with a very quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows decent effort. Showed strong balance point and even shoulders. Has an athletic finish. (Max spin 2137; Avg 1953).
