Began in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was quick, and he had high finish. He barreled up multiple balls during the round. Gap to gap approach. Athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 80 mph; had athletic footwork, soft hands, and a quick fluid exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Recorded a time of 7.33 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, curveball (67-69 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 80-83 mph.

Field: Much improved across the board defensively. Worker back there with above average receiving skills/blocked everything in BP. Also worked out at third base. Nothing flashy but plays low and looks to be sure-handed. Gets the job done and has a big arm across the diamond. Throw: Above average strength at both spots. Defensive Projection: C/Utility.

Lower half is simple and repeatable. Hit: Swing works and he has a ton of raw pop behind it. Bat looked electric too and through. Absolutely landed on balls in BP, leaving the yard to pull side. Top BP we saw on the day, touching 96 mph of the bat. Power: Some of the top raw power we’ve seen in the state in his class. 89 mph exit velocity off the tee. Offensive Projection: Run Producer Run: 4.62 H-1st. Field: In the infield he plays with quick feet, attacking the baseball off the bat. Ball skills are solid for class. Moves well outside of funnel. Moved well laterally too working angles to the ball exhibiting footwork and athleticism in actions. Throw: Solid arm strength with a 78 mph velocity across the diamond. 72 mph from behind the plate showing a strong arm and put the ball on the bag almost every time. Defensive Projection: Infield or catching potential in future. Plenty of time to develop abilities at both positions.
8/1/18 A righty swinger with a simple, yet very efficient load. Slight back movement with hands during aggressive strike create both balance and separation at foot strike. When he pulls the trigger he shows a nice, level path through the zone. Hands have both speed and strength to them. Ball comes off well, giving him a middle of the lineup look. At third base he plays fast too and through with adequate ball skills. Would be aided by creating angles prior to fielding to maintain momentum into throws.
3/11/18 5-foot-8, 158 pound right handed pitching prospect with a sturdy build threw a solid three pitch mix at the event. Throws from a ¾ arm slot with nice arm action in his delivery. Mechanics flowed well together with an even rhythm and pace in his tempo. Fastball was 68-72 mph. Curveball showed average break at 56-60 mph. Changeup was 58-59 mph with nice downward run to it. Slider was solid while running away from righties and command very well. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a short stride for timing as barrel flows back to launch. A strong kid with above average bat speed for class. His natural loft in swing allows him to lift the ball naturally. Middle of the lineup bat who looks to be an extra base hit threat. Drove the ball with authority, especially to his opposite field gap. A third baseman that plays with quick footwork. Does a nice job of creating angles prior to fielding to maintain rhythm. Ball skills are above average for class and arm plays on the left side. Solid defender who made an outstanding bare hand play. Brings above average athleticim to the catcher position. Feet are very quick, creating direction and cutting down distance to second base. Exchange skills are there and he gets rid of the ball quickly. Arm slot is a bit lower than ideal for the spot but ball comes out well.
