Hit:Very efficient stroke from the right side. Looks controlled and fluid throughout sequence. Compact stroke with natural spin to both gaps. Only going to get better as strength arrives. Power:Line drive pop. Offensive Projection:Multiple Roles. Max BP Exit Velocity:84 mph Max BP Distance: 269 ft Field:Talented defender who can play the infield and behind the dish. Although he grades out higher behind the dish he is more than serviceable as a second baseman type. Ball kills are there at both spots. Throw:Clean arm with more strength to come. Defensive Projection: C/2B.
2/16/20
2/16/20 Position Player Hit: Very efficient mover in the box. Always under control and balanced / never rushed. Path plays and he has the ability to square up the ball frequently. Just like the rest of his game expect numbers to only improve as strength arrives because he’s very functionally athletic. Power: Top rapsodo exit velocity was 80.5 mph in BP, while top rapsodo distance registered at 205 feet. Much more in the tank. Offensive Projection: TBD. Field: Like what I see behind the dish. Checks all the boxes you’re looking for in a young defender, showing off an above average skill set across the board. Also showed good rhythm with quality ball skills. As of now looks like a catcher who could spend his off days over at second base. Throw: Clean arm with more strength to come. Was 69 mph from both spots. Defensive Projection: C.

Body Type: 5-foot-3, thin athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a taller, open setup. Uses a short stride for timing during back load with hands. Hit: Vertical barrel launch with a compact stroke through the zone. Fluid swinger with feel for contact. Stays inside the ball well and works the middle of the field. Power: Line drive guy with more to come. Offensive Projection: Table setter. Field: In the outfield he plays with fluid feet and under control in the outfield. Ball skills play out there and he looks comfortable throughout his sequence. In the infield he plays with athletic feet, showing the ability to create angles. Hands works and he looks confident throughout. Looked the part behind the dish. Good athlete back there with a very accurate arm. Can receive and block at an above average slip for class. Popped in the 2.09-2.18 range. Throw: More accurate than he is raw strength at this point but also projects for more with how clean that arm is. Defensive Projection: UTL guy. Additional Comments: Talented defender at multiple spots with a clean stroke. Going to be a good on as physicality arrives.
3/4/18 Impressed with his catch and throw abilities behind the dish. Both feet and exchange skills show quickness. Ball comes out on time and throws showed accuracy. Expect easy improvements in pop times as arm strength increases. Should be a sub 2.0 guy before it’s all said and done. Pop Times: 2.28-2.53 Catcher Velocity: 61
