Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 74 mph during throw downs; had soft hands, a clean exchange, and athletic footwork. Easy gap abilities. Interesting power profile, considering his ability to lift the ball naturally. Offensive Projection: Middle. Field: Continues to improve behind the dish. Now looks to have above average receiving abilities. Can catch and throw at a more than serviceable clip. Throw: 73 mph across the diamond and from behind the plate. Defensive Projection: C/1B.

Field: At the catcher he has an open stance with quick feet, and an efficient transfer. Receives the baseball well with developing blocking skills. Moves light on his feet in the infield with the ability to create angles. Hands look to be on par for class and he showed the ability to maintain ball skills on the move. 2/17/18 5-foot-10, 219 catching prospect produced an uphill that stayed through ball nicely with solid contact. Lower half worked well generating energy leading to strong pop in his bat as he produced an 87 mph exit velocity. Behind the plate he showed a clean transfer with developing footwork. Average arm strength at 66 mph down to second with nice arm action. Pop time was 2.19-2.25. At third base he showed a sloid glove and fielded each attempt cleanly. Footwork was average. Threw with average velocity across the diamond at 66 mph.
