Dylan Gamber: C/3B, (2022) Mayfield, OH. 5-foot-11, 195-pound. Solid at the plate, Gamber recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a quick load, then used a toe tap. He found some barrels in his round. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 76 mph during throw downs; had a developing exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.95-2.04. Had calm setup. Clocked a time of 7.42 in the 60-yard dash. 

Dylan Gamber: C/3B, (2022) Mayfield, OH. 5-foot-11, 215-pound. During batting practice, Gamber had a max exit velocity of 93 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a quick load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is average and exhibits a level swing plane. Smooth in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 76 mph; shows soft hands, smooth athletic feet, and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 74 mph during throw downs; had soft hands, a clean exchange, and athletic footwork. Displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.91-1.94 pop time. Athletic setup with average flexibility. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 4.30 30 yard dash. 

Hit: Physical bat from the right side. Ton of feel for contact with advanced strength through contact. Swing is very efficient. Ideal middle skill set. Ran both gaps regularly in BP.
Power: Gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Middle.

Field: Physical presence behind the dish. Continues to grow as a receiver and showed serviceable catch/throw abilities.

2/9/20 Position Player
Hit: Physical bat that has an efficient path. When squared the ball comes off well. Solid showing for second time this weekend at the plate. 
Power: 91 mph exit velocity. Easy gap abilities. Interesting power profile, considering his ability to lift the ball naturally.
Offensive Projection: Middle.
Field: Continues to improve behind the dish. Now looks to have above average receiving abilities. Can catch and throw at a more than serviceable clip.
Throw: 73 mph across the diamond and from behind the plate.
Defensive Projection: C/1B.

2/8/20 Position Player
Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. One of the top bats we saw on the day. Aggressive swinger with the ability to barrel up the ball consistently. Backspin everything. Potentially one of the better bats in the area. Didn't miss a barrel the entire BP.
Power: Raw power potential.
Offensive Projection: Middle.

Field: Solid showing behind the dish. Really grown back there since we saw him last. Quiet receiver with above average blocking skills. Sub 2.0 pop times. A;sp wprled pit as an infielder. Although future likely lies behind the dish he showed a capable skill set to play a corner spot to keep his bat in the lineup when he needs a breather behind the plate.
Throw: Arm has present strength.Arm has present strength.
Defensive Projection:  C.

Body Type: 5-foot-10, 195-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics:  Open stance with a simple load that has minimal movement.  Keeps his hands loaded well.
Hit:  Level bat path with a pull side approach.  Produces above average bat speed. Natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.
Power:  Pop to the gaps.
Offensive Projection:  Middle of the lineup guy.
Field:  At the catcher he has an open stance with quick feet, and an efficient transfer.  Receives the baseball well with developing blocking skills. Moves light on his feet in the infield with the ability to create angles. Hands look to be on par for class and he showed the ability to maintain ball skills on the move.
Throw: High-3/4 righty with respectable strength and present accuracy.
Defensive Projection: C/3B.

1/13/19
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 195-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Wider setup. Goes with a slight back load to hand during toe turn timing trigger.
Hit: Level path inside an aggressive stroke. Obvious strength with above average bat speed. Ball jumps.
Power: 83 mph exit velocity. Well above average pop for frame. Definite power potential here.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Run: 4.75 H-1st.
Field: Pop times of 2.06-2.14. Above average defender behind the dish for class. Also worked out in the infield where he showed fluid feet with the ability to create angles. Ball skills are above average for class as well.
Throw: 74 mph behind the dish and 70 mph across the diamond. Arm plays as an above average tool.
Defensive Projection: C/1B
Additional Comments: Young guy to follow. Physical kid with impressive pop and above average catch/throw skills.

2/17/18
5-foot-10, 219 catching prospect produced an uphill that stayed through ball nicely with solid contact. Lower half worked well generating energy leading to strong pop in his bat as he produced an 87 mph exit velocity. Behind the plate he showed a clean transfer with developing footwork. Average arm strength at 66 mph down to second with nice arm action. Pop time was 2.19-2.25. At third base he showed a sloid glove and fielded each attempt cleanly. Footwork was average. Threw with average velocity across the diamond at 66 mph.
