Drew Snipes: OF/RHP, (2023) Pickerington North, OH. 5-foot-10, 145-pound lean proportional build. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. (62.53 mph bat speed average). (19.70 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Has an uphill swing plane, average bat speed and high finish. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 73 mph; showed a clean exchange, athletic developing feet, and sure developing hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.37. On the mound, showing consistent developing arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows decent effort. Consistent balance point. Threw his fastball 69-71 mph; shows arm side control and running action. (Max spin 2027; Avg 1905). His 11/5 curveball (57-59) shows gradual action. (Max spin 1562; Avg 1558). His changeup (64-66) had fading action and arm side control.

A right swinger that starts in a balanced, athletic stance. Hands stay simple during leg kick loading movement. Load is fluid and smooth. Nice, level stroke through the zone with developing natural tools. Good hand eye with feel for the barrel. Efficient swing with much more pop to come as strength arrives. In the outfield he plays under control with shorter footwork. Plays two-handed through the baseball for ball security. Functionally athletic kid that moves well out there. Accurate arm. Center/left field type skill set.
