Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays downhill shoulders and a tall balance point. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2161; Avg 2051). Shows late action on his 11/5 slider. (Max spin 1910; Avg 1845).
Drake Elrod: RHP/1B, (2025) Lakota West, OH. 5-foot-11, 175-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 82 mph. (61.1 mph bat speed average). (19.2 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 67 mph; had a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic.
