The big framed, 6-foot-2, 210-pound righty uses a close to max effort delivery on the mound. Uses a good downward plane on his fastball that ranged 85-88 mph with ASR and some cut to the outer half of the plate. Showed tendency to slow his arm on CB that was thrown at 66-67 mph. With the development of his CB and ability to be thrown harder this will only be able to make his fastball more effective. Mixed in a CH that sat 73-74 mph.
9-15-2018: Strong bodied righty. Aggressive, strike thrower. Firm 90-91 mph FB. Above average 75 mph CB induced several swing/misses. Mixed occasional 83 mph CH. Made it look easy over 1.1 IP, four up, four down.
