6/7/16 6-foot-4, 195-pound very projectable frame. A southpaw with a very smooth delivery with minimal effort. Really impressed with his pitchability. He worked his 79-82 mph fastball in and out of the zone with ease. Has natural run on the pitch. Had command of both his offspeed pitches that were equally as affective. Throws a power curveball that has late, sharp action at 73-75 mph. Showed the ability to get ahead or put away hitters with the pitch. Advanced feel for his changeup that had similar action to his fastball. Really impressive outing.
7/15/15 6-foot-4, 190-pound tall, projectable frame. Right-handed hitter that starts slightly spread out with a little leg kick and a good load. Flat level swing that stays in the hitting zone. Registered top exit velocity of 88 mph and was 4.82 down the line. At first base he is a big target and shows good range coming off the bag. Fields the ball out in front with soft hands and throws from a 3/4 slot with 75 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound the southpaw has slow tempo delivery with good direction at foot strike. Able to repeat it and throws from a loose, high-3/4 slot. His fastball sits 78-80 mph with some down angle and occasional arm side run. Spins a breaking ball with good shape and 1/7 tilt at 69-71 mph. Showcased a hard changeup with good arm speed at 73-74 mph with some fade to it.
