At the plate the right handed hitting prospect starts in a balanced set up. Neff has a very controlled load at the plate and stays noticeably balanced throughout the entirety of his swing. Showcased quick, strong hands and above average barrel control while registering a 90 mph exit velocity. His bat path naturally matched the plane of the pitch would should lead to line drive ability to all fields. In the infield he shows capable abilities at second base. Actions are smooth and hands look to be reliable.

Defender who bounces around playing light on his feet. Twitchy actions from the athletic defender. Fluid actions and footwork before throwing through a high ¾ slot. If arm progresses can handle left side of the infield, but for now projects as a second baseman type.A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Load is simple yet efficient. Balanced swing on a level path. Really twitchy hitter with noticeable speed and strength through the zone. Ball jumps off bat. Impressive round of BP. Hit tool plays at the next level.

At the plate he starts open and uses a short stride to get back to even. Incorporates a bat tip with his upper half giving him natural whip through the zone. Path is level and his bat has obvious quickness to it. Does a nice job of getting the barrel on plane early, giving him a large margin for error in timing. Uses both sides of the field with above average pop.

5-foot-6, 167-pound average frame. Right-handed hitter that starts open and uses a small knee pinch load to initiate his lower half. Uses a bat tip to create added whip through the zone. Showed excellent rhythm and good bat speed. Punished a few balls in batting practice and registered an exit velocity of 79 mph. In the field he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action registering an infield velocity of 66 mph. Had some quickness in his feet but would like to see him field the ball more out in front of his body. Ran a 7.61 60 yard dash.
