At the plate he starts in a balanced setup and gets things going with a knee pinch load. Hands are simple prior to launch. Barrel works on a slightly downhill path to the baseball. Showed adequate strength and above average bat speed through the zone. A contact type guy with the ability to find the gaps. Bat plays in a variety roles in an offense. Behind the dish arm stood out as his top tool. Ball jumps out of his hands and throws were mostly on the bag. Has room to clean up exchange skills and shorten arm action, which would lead to easy improvements in pop times.
