6-foot-4, 205-pound right-handed pitching prospect. Made his second appearance at a PBR Ohio Unsigned Senior Showcase. The 6-foot-5, lanky pitcher continues to be an interesting prospect. Over the past year, he has learned how to use his long, lanky body. And as a result, his velocity has taken a 5-7 mph jump. Over the past six months, he has shown an 82-85 mph fastball on two occasions. The arm action isn't squeaky clean and the secondary stuff still needs development, but he could be a rewarding project for a college program. His curveball sits at 69-70 mph and tends to be flat. Changeup is straight at 75 mph.
12/1/12
6-foot-4, 198-pound right-handed pitcher. Tall body with some physical projection. Shows moderate arm speed through upper 3/4 arm slot. Needs to improve overall balance in delivery which shows some effort. Fastball shows some life in zone, ranging 82-84 mph (picked up 5-6 mph from the summer). Shows some feel for off speed pitches. Curve has some downward spin at 68-70 mph while change has good arm action at 76-77 mph.
12/4/11
Angermeir is a long, lanky prospect that is still growing into his body. He uses an over the top arm sloot and average arm speed. The rhythm of his delivery tends to be choppy. His fastball sits at 77-78 mph. His curveball shows early, gradual break and sits at 66-69 mph. He tends to slow down his arm speed when throwing it. His changeup is straight and sits between 68-70 mph. At the plate, the right-handed hitter tends to be stiff. He needs to shorten his path to the ball as his swing tends to get long.
11/6/11
The 6-foot-4, 197-pound right-handed prospect uses a high ¾ arm slot as he displays a 76-79 mph fastball. His changeup, which shows some arm side run, registers between 67-69 mph. His curveball, which tends to be flat, sits at 65-67 mph. With his large frame, Angermier will continue growing into his body. If he is able to better incorporate his lower half, he will only add to his velocity and effectiveness. 7/20/11 The 6-foot-4, 197-pound prospect has a tall, soft build. He uses an over the top arm slot with long arm action to generate a velocity of 73 mph. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts with a slightly open stance. He uses a choppy rhythm and downward plane bat path.
