Impressed at the plate. The lefty has a smooth loading sequence that creates torque and puts him in a strong attack position at swing decision. Creates early barrel acceleration, allowing the bat to whip through the zone with authority. Path is slightly downhill and the ball comes off his bat well. Swing is very efficient and any added strength with maturity should translate to immediate added pop. Actions are fluid at first base. Moves off the bag well and has feel around it. Hands are soft and he has the glove for the position. On the mound the southpaw has an uptempo delivery that requires regular effort. Arm action is shorter, working through a high-¾ slot. Arm speed is above average for class. Fastball has slight arm side run to it, sitting 68-72 mph. Offers a changeup and breaking ball for his secondary arsenal. Breaking ball has big, gradual movement on a 1/7 plane. Changeup has a similar look to the fastball with heavy run and some sink to it.
