Cooper Wenzlick: RHP/SS, (2024) Wayne Trace,. 6-foot-1, 195-pound. During batting practice, Wenzlick had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Has quick bat speed, short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 78 mph; had firm hands, a twitchy exchange, and consistent footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot with a consistent arm action. Clocked a time of 8.01 in the 60-yard dash. Athletic on the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action. Feel type pitcher and shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 83-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph; Has hard action.. Has sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (72-74).. He shows some action on his changeup (75-77).
