Scouting Notes:RHP pitching prospect in the 2022 class. Rolls through chest high leg lift into his drop/drive load. Arm accelerates through a high-3/4 slot with developing strength/speed. Strike thrower that filled up the zone throughout his outing. Fastball/breaking ball guy.Fastball:

2/23/20 Position Player
Hit: Right handed hitter. Athletic, open set up in the box. Loads heavy on the backside, while utilizing a leg kick. Slightly uphill bat path through the zone, creating natural lift.
Power: 72mph tee ev. Line drive pop
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Field: Worked as a 3B. Possesses sufficient hands with developing footwork.
Throw: 72mph arm across the infield. Developing arm strength.
Defensive Projection: 2B
2/23/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Right handed pitcher. Slow beginning delivery, which progresses to a more uptempo style towards the back end of the delivery. Quick arm action from a ¾ arm slot.
Fastball: 71-73 mph. Fastball shows regular arm side action.
Curveball: 63-66mph. 11/5 shape with signs of sharpness.
Changeup: 67-68mph. Able to maintain arm speed, with slight fade.
Body Type: 5-foot-6, 121-pound
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Up-tempo pace delivery with an exaggerated hip turn at the top. Right hander throws from a ¾ arm slot with some effort. Stays directionally towards the plate through release.
Fastball: 61-64 mph. Ability to locate within the zone. 1300-1600 spin rate guy with low 90’s efficiency.
Curveball: 55-58 mph. 11-5 shape breaking ball with gradual break.
Changeup:
Pitchability: Has confidence in the fastball. Strike thrower with a high percentage of early count outs.
Field: In the infield he plays with quick, direct footwork. Hands are solid. Not flashy but productive defender.
Throw: High-¾ right-hander with developing strength.
Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.
2/17/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-3, 119 pounds thin frame with room to add.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Delivery showed lots of moving parts, but threw with intent. Delivered from a high ¾ arm slot.
Fastball: 62-64 mph. Filled the zone up. Stayed mostly straight.
Curveball: 55-56 mph. 11-5 shape. Still developing.
Changeup: Did not show on this day.
Pitchability: Was able to fill the zone up with 2 pitches. Secondary offerings continuing to develop.
Additional Comments: Needs to increase strength and athleticism to see increase in velocity and development of secondary pitches.
2/17/19
Swing Mechanics: Narrow stance in the box followed by a bigger leg kick from this righty. Playable swing actions with growth and consistency coming.
Hit: Overall he made nice contact staying on some pitches well resulting in line-drives. Opposite field saw stronger contact.
Power: 64 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: TBD for now.
Run: 8.81 60-yard.
Field: Max effort athlete that presented his glovework well defensively. Feet showed playable movements as he works around the baseball.
Throw: 68 mph across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: Third base.
6/27/18
Two-way prospect. On the bump the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses a waist high leg lift and creates good direction down the hill. Lands in line at foot strike, with his finish carrying him towards home plate. Long loose arm that is clean through a high-¾ slot. Arm looks to have much more velo down the road. Presently sits 60-62 mph with the fastball that has some cut to it. Breaking ball has a slurvish look on an 11/5 plane at 51-53 mph. Maintains arm speed on the changeup that has some fade at 53-56 mph. In the infield he plays under control with quiet actions. Ball skills are on par for class. Second baseman look to him. Tossed with accuracy across the diamond. At the plate he showed of a compact stroke from the right side. Slight downhill tendencies with a balanced offering of strength/speed through the zone. Showed the ability to consistently square the baseball up in BP.
