The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
7.43
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Conner Manos: LHP/1B, (2022) Hilliard Davidson, OH. 5-foot-10, 140-pound. In the box, Manos clocked an exit velocity of 79 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, shows a flat swing plane and high finish. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.43. Solid on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 69-70 mph. Has running action. His changeup had fading action. He showed a 2/8 slider (61-64).
7/03/19
Body Type: 5-foot-9, 120-pound thin frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: High leg kick with a smooth lower half that lands slightly closed off. A longer high ¾ arm action with natural mound appearance to it.
Fastball: 61-64mph. Slight arm side drop but also shows glove side movement on some pitches with confidence on the outside corner of the plate to right handed hitters showing hints of command on the inside corner. In the zone some of the time but needs to be more consistent in the zone. 1,400-1,600 spin rate with low 90% efficiency on Rapsodo.
Changeup: 55-59mph. Nice arm side movement being a solid secondary pitch. Thrown in the zone most of the time keeping hitters off balance.
Pitchability: In the zone some of the time.
Additional Comments:
3/4/18 5-foot-4, 100 pound left handed pitching prospect with a smaller build throws out of a 3/ arm slot producing a slower tempo throughout his motion. Mechanics are developing in staying connected during his delivery. Fastball was 57-59 mph and thrown well for strikes. Curveball was 50-52 mph with decent spin. His changeup was thrown at 55-56 mph. Offensively, he swings the bat right handed creating nice energy and momentum through his swing up to contact. His level bat path got on plane and made solid contact overall as he stayed through the ball well. His exit velocity recorded was 60 mph. At first base he plays low and fast off the bag. Frame is smaller than ideal for the spot but he makes up for it with well above average athleticism for the position. Glove works and he took care of each ball his way.
