Body Type: 6-foot, 190-pound physical frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Low 3/4 to side arm action. Starts tall then crouch down through delivery. Fastball: 76-80mph. Apparent arm side run with a quick arm action to it. Curveball: 68-70mph. 3/9 slider movement with a sweeping motion to it. Changeup: 71-74mph that is almost enough to keep hitters off balance. Pitchability: Consistently in the zone with all pitches. Additional Comments: Plays position and moves well. Body Type: 6-foot, 190-pound physical frame. Swing Mechanics: Smooth and simple load into back leg. Hit: Uses lower half really well, and launches off back leg. Level path with a nice combination of strength/bat speed. Power: Flashed pop. More to come as he develops. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy. Field: Corner type in the outfield with fluid actions. Ball skills are on par for class. Throw: Quick, loose arm that could easily see more strength. Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.
5/30/18
From the moment he threw from the outfield we were excited to see what he could do on the mound. Arm is long and loose with above average arm speed. Once he hopped on the mound hid athleticism was apparent as throughout his fluid delivery. Sat 78-82 mph with a sharp breaking ball. All signs point to more velocity to come. At the plate he has a top of the lineup look to him with a short, compact swing. Sprayed the ball to both sides of the field in BP.

5-foot-11 and 180-pound left-handed pitching prospect. Working at a quicker pace, Sandhas uses a repeatable compact delivery. Small leg lift with drop and drive lower half and good direction. Uses a short arm action working through a ¾ slot. Offered a four-pitch mix on this day. The fastball shows regular run to both sides of the plate at 78-81 MPH. The breaking ball works well off the fastball. At 64-67 MPH the pitch has tight spin and 1/7 shape. Shows some feel for a changeup that has cutting action at 67-70 MPH. Also flashed a knuckleball, at 65-66 MPH the pitch has some tumbling action through the zone. Two-way prospect. A left-handed hitter that starts in a crouched setup. Hands stay simple during his short stride for timing. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Impressive strength through the zone for class. Swing shows some rawness but ball jumps off his bat. Creates regular backspin to the middle of the field, displaying impressive pop to opposite field gap. Flashes the ability to turn on the ball with authority. Uses quick, athletic footwork in the outfield. Maintains rhythm.momentum through fielding and into his throws. Looks confident and well versed at the position. Arm plays as an above average tool presently nd he still has more in the tank velocity wise.
