Body Type: 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic frame. Hit: Physical left-hander with a level path. Movements are athletic and well synced. Rotational swing sequence with above average natural tools. All fields abilities. Power: Gap abilities with some loft power in there. Top exit velocity was 88.5 in BP. Offensive Projection: Run producer traits. Field: Ideal size for the catcher position. Has always shown the ability to catch/throw and has started to clean up block/receive wise. One of the better defensive showings we’ve seen from him. Throw: Arm is clean, with arm action that plays at the position. Ball has jump out of the hand with easy carry to second base. Defensive Projection: C/OF.
2/14/19
Body Type: 6-foot-2, 185-pound strong frame. Swing Mechanics: Swings it from the left side of the plate where he shows a back load to hands during his forward move. Hit: Fast bat with heavy hands through contact. Showed some inconsistencies in barrel accuracy but when the ball was squared it jumped. Drove the ball with authority to pull side towards the end of his round. Power: 81 mph exit velocity. Much louder BP than exit velo would suggest. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Run: 5.16 H-1st. Field: Worked out behind the dish, recording pop times of 2.00-2.09. Throw: Tossed it to second base with 73 mph arm strength. Defensive Projection: C/1B.
2/03/19
Body Type: 6-foot-2 185-pound prospect. Swing Mechanics: Starts in a wider setup and has a hip hinge load. Short to the ball with his hands and an on plane bat path. Hit: Average bat to ball ability. Power: 81 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Presently would project more as a line drive singles type guy. Could develop more raw power with his frame and potentially become more of a gap to gap threat. Field: 1.90-1.96 pop time. Behind the plate he showed naturally quick feet and a quick arm. His footwork was sloppy at times but showed good natural actions and athleticism behind the plate. Throw: 77 mph from behind the plate. Run: 7.49 60 yard dash. Defensive Projection: Projects well as a catcher at the next level with natural quickness and a smooth arm.
1/12/19
Body Type: Hit: Left-handed hitter with an aggressive swing. Load is athletic and creates energy when well timed. Path has some loft and ball jumps when connected. Pull side approach in BP with ability to create backspin. Power: Pull side power. Gap to gap in general. Offensive Projection: Run producer type. Run: 7.69 60-yard dash. Field: Registered pop times of 1.99-2.03. Mechanically sound back there with smooth actions and quick exchange. Throw: Ball comes out hot and easy. Throws were firm and on the bag. Arm is a well above average tool. Defensive Projection: C/1B. Additional Comments: Left-handed hitting catcher with a college future. Will need to continue to refine receiving abilities but bat has juice in it and he can catch/throw at a high level.
7/24/18
A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a slight back load with hands during leg kick timing trigger uphill path through the zone with a balanced offering of strength and speed through the zone. Creates easy lift of the baseball. Intent driven swing without compromising control. Middle of the lineup ceiling. Top tool behind the dish is catch and throw abilities. Exchange is timely and arm has above average strength with present accuracy. Receiving abilities will need to improve moving forward to stay at the position.

A lefty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a leg kick for timing, showing a slight back load with hands. Launches from a balanced setup before showing an intent driven swing through the zone. Path has some loft and he can do damage when he finds the barrel. Run producer type that took one of the louder BPs of the day. Behind the dish he has a physical frame, starting in a mid crouch. Feet are quick, creating positive direction. Exchange skills are on par for class. Threw with accuracy to second base.
