2/23/20 Pitching Delivery Notes:Left handed pitcher. Slower tempo, with a slight pause as he gets ready to come forward and release. High front leg lift and engages backside well. Long arm action, from a ¾ arm slot. Fastball: 83-85mph.Fastball is true through zone with possibly more in the tank. Breaking Ball: 68-70mph. Sharp 1/7 break with shape. Changeup: 69-73mph. Slightly slows down arm speed, while the pitch shows solid sink action.
2/23/20 Position Player Hit: Left handed hitter. Starts in an athletic, balanced set up. Loading sequence is smooth and simple, with a level bat path through the zone and displays quickness in hands, Power: 83 mph tee ev. Flashed gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup. Field: Worked out as an OF. Relaxed, reliable defensive actions. Displayed sound footwork and athleticism, with a long arm action when making throws. Throw: 88 mph arm from the OF. Above average arm strength. Defensive Projection:OF
6/03/19
Body Type: 5-foot-9, 165-pound physical frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slower 3/4 arm slot. Utilizes lower half but more in the tank for an explosive lower half to help velocity increase. Fastball:77-80mph that attacks the zone. Curveball: 61-64mph with 1/7 movement. In the zone consistently. Changeup: 61-62mph with knuckleball like movement. Kept hitters off balance. Pitchability: In the zone most of the time with all three pitches.
11/10/18
Definite follow on the mound. Southpaw with an clean delivery and loose arm. Three-pitch mix led by the fastball/breaking ball combo. Fastball is heavy/works downhill at 79-82 mph with all the signs of more velo down the road. Breaking ball was inconsistent but was a quality offering stuff wise at 66-69 mph. Pitch has late downward bite that has more than enough action to miss barrels when in the zone. Changeup was in the zone consistently with a bit slower arm speed than on fastball. Secondary offerings have room to grow (just like most prospects his age) but arm really works while already offering above average velo for class.
