2/02/19

Body Type: 5-foot-8 155-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Switch hitter. From the right side he used a leg kick and was able to stay balanced throughout the whole swing. His bat path was a little longer than desired but he keep his barrel through the zone well. From the left side he showed essentially the same swing but maybe a little less pop off the barrel.
Hit: Good athleticism and barrel control from both sides of the plate.
Power: 79 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows potential to stick as a switch hitter as he progresses. Could develop into a gap to gap guy from both sides of the plate.
Run: 7.61 60 yard dash.
Field: In the infield he showed quick feet and took decent angles through the ball. He had a quick, accurate arm and showed good hands.
Defensive Projection: Pretty good instincts and actions for his age. Should be a guy who can stick in the middle of the infield as he develops and matures.

3/11/18

A switch hitter at the plate. Looks like a true switch with almost a mirror image look mechanically from both sides. Incorporates a leg kick and bat tip to loading sequence. Movements are athletic and efficient. Can get up hill at times. Showed feel for the barrel with above average hand speed through the zone. Strength is developing. The only noticeable difference between each side was he worked to stay inside the ball a bit more from the left. Really liked what I saw form Gerbrick in the infield. Plays fast without compromising control. A good athlete with very quick feet. Maintains rhythm through fielding displaying above average ball skills for class. Solid defender.

60-yard dash: 8.0
Infield Velocity: 68
Exit Velocity: 74
