Body Type: 6-foot-2, 190-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Moves well out there. Movements are well timed, natural rhythm and allowing arm to be on time at foot strike. Really gets into his front side well.
Fastball: 79-82 mph. Easy velo that projects for more. 2000-2200 spin rate guy with low 90s spin efficiency.
Curveball: 60-65 mph. 11/5 shaped offering that he will throw in any count. Look for offering to sharpen up as he hits impending velo jump.
Changeup: Didn’t show the pitch often, but looks to be a playable offering.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
Additional Comments: A guy to look out for as any added burst with maturity should easily translate to added mphs with his cleanliness.
Right-handed pitching prospect in the 2021 class. Works exclusively from the stretch. Efficient lower half, rolling through chest high leg lift into an efficient hip load. Gets down the mound well with direction. Arm is long and clean through a high-¾ slot. Delivery requires some effort. Fastball is mostly true through the zone sitting 79-82 mph. Spins a big, 11/5 shaped breaking ball that has some dive to it at 64-69 mph. Throws the pitch often, showing excellent feel for the spot. Also flashed a playable changeup. Definite follow in 2021 class.
