2/16/20 Position Player Hit: Smooth, easy mover in the box. Uses a slight leg lift and back to forth action with lower half during slight back load to hands. Swing is compact, showing a balanced combination of strength and speed to hands. Slightly downhill trajectory in path. Line drive flight generally, with occasional gap abilities. Solid showing. Power: Top batting practice exit velocity was 85.3 and he reached a top batting practice distance of 257 feet. Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. Field: Versatile defender with efficient footwork/ball skills shown in the infield and outfield. Although he looks like he has had more reps as an infielder the arm and athleticism easily translates to the outfield as well. Nice clay to mold here as a defender. Throw: Showed 78 mph arm strength across the infield and to home plate from the outfield. Defensive Projection: UTL.
2/16/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Athletic mover on the mound. Uses good pace to a delivery that doesn’t require a ton of effort. Arm works and he creates direction/energy with lower half. Fastball: 75-77 mph, mostly true, physical signs of more velocity to come. Breaking Ball: 67-69 mph, above average pitch, spins it well, sharper down action. Changeup: 71-72 mph, more than playable third offering tossed with fastball arm speed.
