2/15/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: One of the top arms we saw on the day. Noticeably improved delivery since we saw him last. Cleaner and more explosive. Good get for Mount Union. Fastball: 83-85 mph. Late life to both sides of the plate. Curveball: 71-73 mph. Hard, sharp action on an 11/5 plane. Quality pitch. Changeup: Well above average third offering. Good sell.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 160-pound thin frame with room to added. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: High-¾ right-hander with a very easy delivery. Movements are fluid and sync well. Clean/on time arm that projects for more strength. Fastball: 77-79 mph. Easy velo with more to come. 1700-1900 spin rate guy high 90s efficiency. Curveball: 11/5 shaped offering that projects to be an above average pitch. Spins it well. Once he hits impending velo jump the pitch will continue to sharpen up. Changeup: Fastball look out of the hand. Slight dip to it. Playable third offering. Pitchability: Fills it up. Additional Comments: Definite follow. Velo isn’t there yet but with his cleanliness he will add more as he adds strength to frame.

5-foot-11, 140 pound right handed pitcher has a taller, lean frame to him with fluid mechanics. Hawley throws with a ¾ arm slot and clean arm action. Produces a higher leg kick and gets extended downhill very well allowing for a strong throwing position at foot strike. Fastball was 74-77 mph. His curveball shows good life with break and located effectively at the knees often around 63-65 mph. Hawley’s changeup had slight arm side run to it with some downward action at 70-71.
2/5/17 5-foot-10, 140-pound prospect. On the mound the right-hander had a fluid tempo to a delivery that requires minimal effort. Uses shorter arm action while working through a high-¾ slot. Average arm speed at this stage. Fastball sat 68-71 mph, topping at 73 mph with sink at times. His best offspeed pitch was his 10/4 shaped breaking ball at 60-62 mph. Had excellent feel for the pitch, showing the ability to use it as a freeze pitch or break it off the plate. Also showed decent feel for a changeup. A third baseman that takes direct routes with his footwork. Fields in the middle of his body. Glove skills are adequate. Threw across the infield with 65 mph arm strength. At the plate he uses a leg lift to initiate his lower half. Barrel launches from behind his head on a level path. A contact type hitter that worked to the middle of the field during batting practice.
