6-2, 175-pound toolsy LHH. Low heartbeat player who is comfortable in high leverage settings. Potential in the bat to an impact LHH like his brother. Moves well in the OF and gets good jumps.
7/26/23
One of the top bats in the state regardless of class. Oozes with feel with fluid actions throughout the sequence. Barrelled everything throughout round / one of the more accurate barrels you'll find down here. Also has substantial projection left. Also made several impressive plays, highlighted by an over the shoulder catch that was one of the best of the entire Future Games. Dude.
6/12/23
Chandler Taylor: OF/3B, (2026) Badin, OH. 6-foot-1, 145-pound. (63.8 mph bat speed average). (20.3 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 87 mph; had a natural exchange, sure hands, and quick footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.06.
7/26/22
When talking upside it's hard to match what Taylor has to offer. Loose, athletic swing w/endless projection left as he fills out. Has feel for the barrel / didn't miss it throughout the round and bat speed already in the low 70s/projecting to be an elite tool. In the outfield it's smooth/effortless-shows feel for the position. How run tool/arm come along will likely determine the future destination.
