12/2/18 On the mound Strickley has a long limbed 6-foot-3 frame with physicality and some remaining projectability. He has a choppy rhythm to his deceptive delivery from a ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat 70-75 mph while being true through the zone. His breaking ball was 65-66 mph while showing some decent spin to the pitch.
1/30/18 Moves light on his feet in the infield, getting solid reactions off the bat. Does a nice job of maintaining momentum through fielding into transfer. Gets rid of the ball quickly and showed an accurate arm across the diamond. A righty swinger that initiates pre launch movements with a kneep pinch. Bat travels on a downhill plane to the baseball, showing above average strength and developing bat speed. Would be aided by adding natural loft to path, to produce more natural backspin. A two-way prospect that offers three pitches through a ¾ slot. Delivery has a slower paced to it, requiring regular effort. Fastball is mostly true through the zone, sitting 74-75 mph. Changeup had consistent cut to it with occasional sink at 66-67 mph. The offering was above average for class. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with gradual break at 60-64 mph.

2/18/17 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect. Infielder that may project best as a corner guy. Average footwork at this stage. Will be aided by playing more from his toes and creating angles towards first base. Transfer has some length to it. Throws from ¾ slot with long arm action. Top velocity of 73 mph across the infield. On the mound, the right handed pitcher uses a smooth tempo type delivery. Uses long arm action while throwing through a ¾ slot. Fastball tends to stay straight as it sits between 72-74 mph. Breaking ball works 12/6 gradually towards the plate at 64-66 mph. Also mixes in a 67-68 mph changeup. Offensively, he starts in a tall setup at the plate prior to his leg kick load and controlled stride. Hands stay simple during his forward movement. An ambush type hitter that has an aggressive approach at the plate. Ball jumped off his bat when he was on time with his weight shift. Would like to see him control his forward movement a bit more.
