1/21/18 - Committed to Coker College (SC) from Sinclair CC (OH)
7/29/13
6-foot, 150-pound middle infield prospect. Established himself as one of the top middle infielders in his class for the state. Quick, twitch athletic prospect that continues to get stronger. Fluid footwork with a quick exchange. Good angles to the ball. Reached a top velocity of 84 mph across the infield. At the plate, he swings from both side of the plate. Somewhat of a wide base to his swing. Contact type hitter with short, level path. Showed more lift from the left side. Continues to show progress and the ability to hit from either side with success in game play. Ran a 4.22 out of the box from the right side. High baseball IQ and aggressive baserunner. Father played at Kent State and older brother plays at Marietta.

6/4/13
6-foot, 150-pound middle infield prospect. Registered a 6.95 60-yard dash. Shows fluid actions in the field. Good instincts and routes to the baseball. Throws from all angles and shows a rhythm to his play. Reached a top velocity of 81 mph on his throws. At the plate, he hits from both sides. Contact type hitter from both sides. Starts with wide base and his hands at his ears in his load. Showed the ability to drive the ball the other way from the left side. Power should increase as his body continues to mature.

8/1/12
6-foot, 155-pound prospect with thin, athletic build. Definite follow as a middle infielder. Registered a 6.91 60-yard dash. Shows advance skills and understanding of the game. Smooth in the field with soft hands and fluid footwork. Needs to continue attacking the baseball and staying aggressive at times. Quick transfer and top velocity of 77 mph across the infield. At the plate, the switch hitter shows balance from both side of the plate. From the right-side, he displays rotational mechanics with a short stride and line drive production. Should improve power potential as his frame fills out. From the left-side, he is a contact, slappy type hitter. Shows plenty of potential, but still needs to work on consistency.

Demko is an athletic prospect and definite follow in the years to come. At shortstop, he shows fluid, natural actions. He consistently attacks and plays through the baseball. He uses a quick transfer and arm action to generate a velocity of 77 mph across the infield. At the plate, the switch-hitting prospect uses a short, compact swing on both sides of the plate. He projects as a top of the order, line drive hitter. He registered a 7.14 60-yard dash on a slow track. (Casey’s father Rich played at Kent State and his older brother Christian plays at Marietta).
