Burdue has a tall, athletic type build with plenty of room to still mature. His fastball has good life to it with some arm side run at 79-84 mph. His secondary pitch was a curveball that didn’t break a lot but showed 10/4 action at 64-72 mph. He is a max effort type guy that sometimes throws across his body cutting off his lower half. Has a tendency to miss arm side high when trying to get a few more miles an hour on his fastball. Overall, Burdue shows signs of being able to continuously get better as he continues working on his craft. A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Double tap timing mechanism with slight back load shown in hands. Balanced launch with a slightly downhill path to contact. Offers a balanced combination of strength and speed through the zone. Ball jumps when squared up. Good athlete in the box. Gap pop presently with more to come. Well-rounded skill set in the outfield. Athletic feet with above average ball skills out there. Arm plays at all three spots.
60-yard dash: 6.9
Outfield Velocity: 77
Exit Velocity: 78

7/12/17
A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Barrel is fluid during his short stride. Path is level with some loft. Bat speed is an above average tool for his class. Strength looks to be his top tool. Swing is compact with some whip to it. A line drive type guy who showed the ability to finds the gap. Defensively, he shows good footwork. Feet move quickly laterally. Glove skills are still developing. Fields low to the ground while carrying his momentum towards the target. Throws the ball from a lower ¾ slot with above average arm strength. On the mound, the right handed pitcher throws through a 3/4 slot with short arm action. Lands closed creating deceptive arm angle against right handed hitters. Fastball displays arm-side run at 75-79 mph. Breaking ball breaks gradually on an 10/4 plane 58-59 mph.
60-yard dash: 7.42
Infield Velocity: 77
Exit Velocity: 72
