8/2/16 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic body frame. From the crouch he uses adequate footwork to get himself turned and in line before throwing to second base. At times his footwork tends to be ahead of his transfer before he goes to throw. Throws with a clean, short arm action through an upper ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 70 mph to produce pop times ranging from 2.12-2.29. Left-handed hitter starts from an open stance using a knee-high leg lift that allows him to initiate a fluid lower half loading sequence before striding back to being squared up to even. Has a fluid load with his hands moving just past his back shoulder, swinging with a slightly upward bat path through the zone. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Recorded a top exit velocity of 76 mph and ran a 4.92 home to first base time.
