Cameron Birch: 1B/RHP, (2025) Olentangy, OH. 6-foot-1, 180-pound. (72.0 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a tall balanced stance with a compact load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was explosive, used a short level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 83 mph. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 83 mph.   

Cameron Birch: 1B/RHP, (2025) Olentangy, OH. 6-foot-1, 180-pound. Begins in a balanced stance with a quick tight load, then uses a short stride. Has above average bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls throughout his round. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 78 mph. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 80 mph. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.77.

Started in a balanced pre-loaded stance with a quick controlled load, then used a short quick stride. Bat speed was flashed above average, used a short upward swing plane and high finish. Was able to create a lot of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap line drive approach. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 84 mph. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 78 mph; showed quick choppy feet, a clean fluid exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Athletic, capable on the mound, showed some quick arm speed with a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. During his delivery balance point is tall with even in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Shows both sides of the plate control and slight tailing action with tight movement. (Max spin 1692; Avg 1533). His tight curveball had command around the zone and gradual slurvey action. (Max spin 1684; Avg 1676). Threw his heavy changeup with gradual sinking action and down in the zone control.

Starts in a balanced tall stance with a quick load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, displays a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 77 mph; has a natural exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 8.07. On the mound, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 74-78 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1597; Avg 1278). Throws a 11/5 curveball (69-70) that has some action.
