LHP/OF, (2023) West Carrolton, OH. 5-foot-10, 145-pound. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Downhill shoulders with a strong balance point. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 79-82 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2204; Avg 2065). Had late action on his 2/8 slider (64-68). (Max spin 2334; Avg 2161).
Hit: Left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup Ues a smooth load down low during bat tip up top. Slightly downhill path to contact, with bat arriving on top at contact. Natural tools are developing while showing feel for contact. All fields flight.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup.
Field: In the outfield he plays with smooth feet too and through the baseball. Ball skills appear to be on par for class.
Throw: Clean arm with above average strength.
Defensive Projection: LF look at present.
Scouting Notes: Love the look of the delivery. Clean/athletic and arm really works. A guy to keep an eye on because the radar gun will look much different down the road. Ran it up to 80mph. The top secondary was a sharp, downer breaking ball spun around 70mph. Impressive pitch.
Fastball: Late life with occasional run. Good feel for it.
Breaking Ball: Well above average offering that will only get better as he continues to add velo.
Changeup: Also showed developing feel for a changeup.
Pitchability: Consistently in the zone with heater and breaking ball. Changeup was in/.out.
