Callum McGill: RHP/SS, (2023) Loveland high school, OH. 6-foot-2, 168-pound. In the box, Mcgill had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. Began in a balanced quiet stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph; had a natural exchange, consistent footwork, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. On the mound, using a quick arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 80-82 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2142; Avg 2102). His 11/5 curveball (68-69) showed slurvey action. (Max spin 2386; Avg 2306). He shows slight fading action on his changeup (71-72). Ran a 3.97 30 yard dash.
