A right-handed hitter that starts in an open stance. Barrel flows through load during his short stride for timing. Launches from a balanced position prior to taking a level path to contact, Barrel shows natural lag through the zone. Strength is ahead of bat speed presently. Line drive hitter who used the entire field in BP. In the outfield he plays with aggressive feet while remaining fluid. Plays through the baseball with adequate ball skills. Arm strength will be area for improvement. Behind the dish he starts in a lower crouch, showing flexibility to his hips. Gets out of his stance with fluidity with feet getting in line prior to release. Arm action is a bit longer than ideal for the catcher position but ball comes out decently. Should see easy improvements in pop times as arm strengthens with maturity.
