8/5/18 6-foot-1, 202-pound. Right-handed pitcher with an average build. Quick tempo delivery, uses a chest high liff, moves down the mound with level shoulders finishing slights closed at footstrike. Fastball works out of the low 3/4 slot with regular sink in action at 75 to 78 mph. Slider shows occasional sweeping action on a 10/4 plane at 66 to 68 mph. Also offered a straight change thrown with fastball arm speed of 70 to 71 mph.

6-foot-1 and 202-pound right-handed pitching prospect. Riga uses a long arm action working out of a low-3/4 slot. Drop and drive lower half type with some deception working slightly across his body at a quicker pace. Fastball shows slight run to the arm side at 77-80 MPH. Slider has sweeping action at 68-69 MPH, while the curveball works on a 11/5 tilt at 67-68 MPH. Also, offered a playable changeup that has consistent sink at 73-74 MPH.
7/25/17 On the mound the right-hander has a fluid, repeatable delivery. Uses an easy, chest high leg lift. Lands slightly closed at foot strike and arm works through a ¾ slot. The combination of his cross fire arm action and slot give natural run to his fastball. Did a nice job of working in on righties with the pitch. Does a nice job tunneling his fastball/slider combination. Pitches come out similar with, prior to running his fastball or darting his slider across the plate. Slider looks to be the put away pitch. With his pitchability he should find a role out of the bullpen early in his career, with potential to grow into a starter. Adding a third pitch would help him be more effective vs lefties. Impressive overall outing. FB: 75-80 SL: 66-70
6/6/17 On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that he is able to repeat. His natural, lower arm slot puts heavy run on his 78-80 mph fastball. His slider compliments the fastball nicely as it showed sharpness as it sweeps across the plate at 69-70 mph. Does a very nice job of starting both pitches in the heart of the plate, using his movement to end both pitches just on or slightly off the plate. Showed the change-up a few times and looks to be still developing feel for the pitch at 71-72 mph. Very tough matchup for righties.
5/31/17 A right-handed pitching prospect. Works with good pace and pitches with confidence. Arm works well through a near ¾ slot. Ball comes out of his hand well and gets on hitters faster than his 79-80 mph velocity would indicate. Fastball showed run and sink while working to his arm side. Uses a 10/4 shaped breaking ball as his go to secondary offering. The pitch has solid depth with sharpness at 67-68 mph.
10/15/16 An athletically built prospect at 6-foot, 180-pounds. Works through a near ¾ slot with slinging arm action. Has a low effort delivery with a quick arm. Showed off a three pitch mix with his fastball sitting 77-79 mph. The pitch has heavy, late run created by his arm action. His slider isn’t a big movement pitch but does enough to miss barrels with late, tight action. Showed very good feel for his changeup that had similar action to his fastball with bigger movement. Does a nice job of hiding the spin of both of his off speed pitches.
