Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Body Type: 6-foot 175-pound thin athletic frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Longer arm action with a good scap load and efficient lower half. Ideal mechanics to maintain while building a more physical frame. Fastball: 80-83mph. Slight glove side movement. Curveball: 64-65mph. 11/5 movement with good break. Changeup: 75-76mph. Average offering with ability to throw some hitters off balance. Pitchability: In the zone some of the time but could be more consistent. High pitchability is near with ability to command both pitches on both sides of the plate. Additional Comments: Low spin efficiency with fastball on rapsodo due to slight cut on fastball. Can be fixed with adjustment to grip.

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. Athletic build with room to add. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Releases from a ¾ slot presenting a longer, loose arm action. Great tempo on the mound providing flow and overall smooth delivery process. Fastball: 79-83 mph. Nice tailing arm-side run with ball jumping out of his hand easily. Curveball: 63-64 mph. Snaps this off very well with 11-6 tilt and signs of sharper bite coming later in his outing. Commanded better out of the stretch for strikes. Changeup: 71-72 mph. Moves well with some depth to ti. Locating ability was average which was affected by arm speed. Can keep it consistent and results will improve. Slider: 63-64 mph. Slider showed harder spin with 10-4 movement. Strikes thrown often with it. Pitchability: Fastball was quick and showed off a stronger arm from him. Both off-speed pitches showed signs of effectiveness however slider looks to be his best right now. Mechanically looks fine which leads to upside as he throws more.

A right-handed pitching prospect in the 2020 class. Works with good pace to a delivery that requires little effort. Actions are athletic on the bump. Uses a chest high leg lift prior to creating good direction down the mound with his lower half. Arm actions is long back with some looseness through a high-¾ slot. Fastball will show occasional arm side action at 78-80 mph. Spins his slider often and has obvious confidence in the offering. Used it to get ahead of and put away hitters. The pitch has big, sharp action on a near 10/4 plane. A strike thrower that filled up the zone with both offerings. With his athleticism and cleanliness expect more velocity as strength arrives.

5-foot-11, 155 pound pitching prospect throws right handed out of ¾ arm slot with loose, longer arm action. Mechanics worked well and Belsole generates a nice energy produced by his hips as he powers downhill. Fastball was 80-82 and lived at the knees. Curveball had higher break point at 59-60 mph. His changeup from 66-68 mph showed solid run to it glove side and threw off similar arm speed as his fastball. Provides intent behind each action. In the infield he showed soft hands and nice mobility with footwork getting around the ball. Across the diamond, he threw 78 mph with accuracy. Abilities will develop nicely as he matures physically. A righty swinger with athletic actions in the box. Goes with a leg kick timing trigger as barrel flows through load and into launch. Movements start early allowing him to create consistent timing and repeat his swing. Path is level showing above average natural tools through the zone with strength grading hire than bat speed at this stage. Has a tendency to get around the baseball to pull side. Swing is efficient and he has feel for the barrel. A line drive type now with more to come as he twitches up with maturity.

Starts in a taller setup at the plate. Uses an efficient knee pinch load to get his lower half involved. Barrel is vertical at launch and he takes a level path to the baseball. Contact guy at this stage that swing translates to added juice as he matures. Has feel for the barrel. Mechanically sound in the infield with athletic actions. Does a nice job of staying low as he plays through the baseball. On the mound the right-hander has a smooth tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Works through a high-¾ slot with clean arm action. Fastball showed slight run at times, sitting 77-80 mph. Complements his fastball with an 11/5 breaking ball at 61-64 mph. Has excellent feel for the pitch that has potential to develop into a very solid pitch.
Ran a 4.82 from home to first. A mechanically sound infielder that does a nice job of playing fast, while remaining under control. Plays through the baseball with ease, showing soft hands and above average ball skills. Arm is already an above average tool for class (78 mph across the infield) and he projects for more as he matures physical. Has the look of a very solid, reliable defender. Also showed well at the plate. Loading sequence is fluid and efficient. When he pulls the trigger he shows feel for the barrel and ability to find plane regularly. Hands are loose, allowing the barrel to whip freely through the zone on a level path. Stronger than frame would suggest, generating routine gap pop. Showed off his strength/bat speed combination by registering an exit velocity of 87 mph.
