Hit: Good looking bat. Physical with above average bat speed that gets up to speed quickly. Already has above average juice and similar to him on the mound, should see much more pop as he fills out that 6-foot-3 frame. Up to 86mph off the bat. Power: Gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Middle. Field: Frame/skill set play over at first base where he offers above average athleticism for the position as well. Potential to be an above average defender over there. Throw: Clean, loose arm. Hs a chance to be a cannon. Defensive Projection: 1B.
Delivery/Scouting Notes: High ceiling arm. 6-foot-3, long lever type with endless projection left on frame. Stuff is solid now with a fastball around 80mph with heavy run (averaged around 20in of IDH break)and a playable breaking ball but expect much more from him down the road. Could easily see him being a higher velocity arm before it's all said and done. Fastball: Above average offering that should only sharpen up as he hits impending velocity jump. Breaking Ball: Changeup: Used a knuckleball with dance through the zone. Pitchability: Strike thrower.
