Mroz is an athletic two-way prospect. On the mound, the right hander shows quick arm action and command of a heavy 84-86 mph fastball. His curveball, which sits at 72-74 mph, shows sharp, 11/5 break. He needs to continue developing his 81-82 mph changeup. From the outfield, he uses a high 3/4 arm slot to generate a top velocity of 88 mph with plenty of carry. He is aggressive to the ball, but under control. He shows quick, fluid footwork. At the plate, he uses a balanced, close setup. He shows a confident approach at the plate with easy, fluid actions. He is a line drive hitter with the occasional pop in his swing.

Has moderate arm speed through upper 3/4 slot. Shows good lower half and follow through. Fastball ranges 85-87 mph with some arm side run and movement late in zone. Throws good downward tilt curveball with some depth at 75-76 mph.
